The Static Grounding Monitoring System is an integral part of the Overfill Protection & Earthing System. It continuously monitors the grounding status of road tankers and provides clear visual and audible indication during the loading and unloading of flammable and combustible liquids.
A green light confirms that a reliable grounding connection has been established. A red light, accompanied by an audible alarm, indicates the absence of a proper ground connection.
An interlock circuit within the control panel prevents pumps and associated equipment from starting until a verified grounding condition is confirmed. The interlock will also automatically shut down the pumps and equipment if the grounding connection is lost during the transfer operation.
